About

Goshen Farms sources genuine red palm oil from West African villages where it has been produced for over 5000 years. When you buy organic palm oil from African villages, you know the product is real, you save the environment, and you give the local people money and jobs.
With concentrations of 500-700 ppm, unadulterated palm oil is one of the finest natural plant sources of carotenoids, giving it a reddish tint. Carotenoids in organic palm oil are fifteen times higher than in carrots and three hundred times higher than in tomatoes. No other vegetable oil contains such high concentrations of carotenoids.Vitamin E, D Natural Co-Enzyme Q 10, and Phytosterol, which include cholesterol-lowering components, are among the other nutrients.
Traditional techniques of making palm oil do not require preservatives or chemical additions, and it may be stored for up to 7 years without refrigeration.
Oil palm trees grow wild all across the African continent and have been processed in villages for over 5000 years. Large firms with plantations spanning Asia and South America have since moved and, in some cases, genetically manipulated palm trees for the mass production of refined palm oil. Chemical additives, bleaching, deodorizing, and other procedures are used in the refining process to remove the majority of the nutrients. Some manufacturers use red food coloring to give it a healthy appearance, but they can't replicate the flavor and fragrance of the original oil, nor can they replace all of the nutrients that have been lost with an artificial alternative.
Goshen Farm's Red Palm oil is the only brand produced inside of Africa utilizing ancient processes that have been passed down through the generations.
Goshen Red Palm Oil is resistant to rancidity because of tocols, which are effective natural antioxidants. It has a high melting point and is shelf-stable, so it does not require hydrogenation and thus does not contain trans-fatty acids; it is also resistant to oxidation.
Goshen Farm's Red Palm Oil has a very high smoke point of around 425 degrees Fahrenheit, making it an excellent frying oil. However, the longer you apply high heat, the more natural antioxidants you deplete. According to studies, roughly 70% of the carotenes are kept after one deep fry, but after four deep fries, there are essentially no carotenes remaining.
While mass-produced oil is useful for soap manufacturing, cosmetics, and industrial applications, individuals who know the genuine thing will not use it in the kitchen unless there is no other option. The creators of Goshen Farms were unable to locate the genuine article in the United States or Europe. This motivated us to get our oil from villages around West Africa where the oil palm tree grows naturally in the tropical rain forest rather than massive habitat-destroying plantations with GMO plants and chemical extraction procedures. This collaboration between Goshen Farms and village producers not only preserves the environment but also offers a 100% nutrient-rich cooking oil to the rest of the globe while providing meaningful work to African people.
When you buy Goshen Farm's Red Palm Oil, you are helping to safeguard animal habitats, the environment, and African village producers rather than giant corporate interests with enormous plantations and massive industrial complexes.
